Additional Student Leadership Opportunities & Responsibility Guidelines

Instructions and best practices for tracking student progress, stage alignment, and mentorship notes in SoulTrics. A key tool for accountability, coaching, and development tracking.
Practicum Overview & Learning Objectives
A high-level summary of the purpose, structure, and outcomes of the practicum. Refer to this to align your leadership with JLA’s expectations and ensure students are on track with their learning goals.
Practicum Responsibilities & Culture Standards
Defines what’s expected of students and leaders both during practicum hours and beyond. Includes best practices for communication, scheduling, leadership conduct, and spiritual discipline.
JLA | SEU 16-Week Development Tracker
A weekly reflection and coaching tool that helps students process their growth in leadership, character, and calling. Practicum Leaders can use this to guide mentorship and mid-semester evaluations.

Provides all major JLA dates, practicum meeting times, serve commitments, and milestone events. Use this to stay on top of semester rhythms and planning logistics.

JLA | SEU Ministry Practicum Project
Outlines expectations for the hands-on ministry project students must complete in alignment with their leadership stage (Spark, Flame, Ember). Includes examples and evaluation guidance.

SEU Assessments & Evaluation Tools
Includes required Southeastern University forms, student evaluations, reflection questions, and end-of-semester assessments. Practicum Leaders are responsible for completing these with accuracy and timeliness. The JLA Site Director will review, finalize, and submit all SEU documentation for academic credit.
JLA Classes (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
A guide to optional teaching opportunities for Practicum Leaders who want to invest further through leadership development or biblical studies classes. Includes structure, expectations, and Flex format instructions.
