Welcome to your weekly schedule—crafted with intention to help shape you spiritually, personally, and practically as you grow into the leader God has called you to be. This rhythm reflects the heart and standard of Journey Leadership Academy’s Traditional, Hybrid, and Flex Program, blending discipleship, hands-on ministry, and leadership development in a way that’s meant to grow you from the inside out.

By stepping into this schedule, you’re not just showing up—you’re saying “yes” to being formed, challenged, and equipped. Each moment is a chance to sharpen your character, deepen your walk with Jesus, and steward what’s been entrusted to you with excellence and humility.

Our hope is that this schedule won’t just feel like a routine—but that it would remind you daily that you are becoming. You’re not just attending a program… you’re being prepared for purpose.

Arrival Time**:** 7:45 AM (Sunday), 8:30 AM (Tuesday & Thursday)

Dismissal Time**:** 2:15 PM (Sunday), 4:00 PM (Tuesday & Thursday)

Traditional Days**: **Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday

Hybrid Days**: **Tuesday, Sunday

Flex Days**: **Tuesday Evenings at 7:00pm-8:30pm, Sunday

SUNDAY – Flow & Practicum Rotations

Time Activity Details 7:45 AM Student Arrival / Check-in Arrive early, check in with the JLA App, and prepare for morning rallies. Unless your practicum says otherwise. 8:00–8:05 AM Dream Team Rally Attend a full-team huddle. Celebrate wins, align on the heart for Sunday. 8:05–8:10 AM Platform Rally Quick touchpoint for those serving on platform roles (stage, hosts, worship, etc.). 8:10–8:30 AM Dream Team Central Grab Coffee, snacks, and connect before service starts. 8:30–9:45 AM Attend First Service All students attend together for spiritual nourishment & note-taking. 10:00–11:10 AM Serve in Practicum – Service 2 Assigned ministry tracks: Kids, Production, Worship, Online, Next Steps, etc. 11:30–12:40 PM Serve in Practicum – Service 3 Continue serving and taking lead in rotation or assisting team members. 1:00–2:10 PM Serve in Practicum – Service 4 Final service block; give best energy and excellence through the finish. 2:10–2:15 PM Dismissal Check-out with Practicum Lead and on JLA App.

TUESDAY – Leadership Development & Character Skills

Time Session Details 8:30–8:45 AM (15 min) Student Arrival / Check-In Check in with the JLA App. Settle in, connect, prepare your heart for the day. 8:45–9:15 AM (30 min) JLA Corporate Prayer Led by staff or student leaders. Unified prayer, intercession, & worship. 9:15–9:30 AM (15 min) Devotional Weekly devotional or testimony reflection. Led by staff or student leaders. 9:30–10:15 AM (45 min) Study Hall / break before class Independent study or optional group study. Light refreshments, quick reset. 10:15–11:30 AM (1 hr 15 min) Leadership Development Class Weekly: Leadership Development teaching. 11:30–12:30 PM (1 hr) Heart for the House Serve with church staff, assist with projects, or help in ministry areas. 12:30–1:30 PM (1 hr) Lunch Break
1:30–3:30 PM (2 hr) Practicum Students engage in their ministry practicums and projects (e.g., Worship, Youth, Kids, etc.). 3:30–4:00 PM (30 min) Debrief Weekly: End-of-day reflections (e.g., “Where did I lead well today?”, “How did God stretch me?”), announcements, prayer send-off.
